About This Project
A full front-entry rebuild that replaced worn wood steps and a cracked concrete walkway with durable, low-maintenance hardscape.
We took it down to the ground and built back up: an 8-inch compacted stone base, Cambridge ArmorTec Ledgestone pavers in Driftwood with a Coal border, and solid granite treads set on a new poured concrete pad. Paver walkways lead to the door, and a washed-stone path runs along the side yard to the back gate. Partway through, the homeowners asked us to finish the front lawn in fresh sod instead of loam and seed — so we adjusted the plan, and they had a finished lawn the same week as the finished walkway. Four days on site, start to finish.
