One-Day Roof Tear-Off & Replacement — Kingston, NH

A full tear-off and asphalt shingle replacement on a Kingston colonial — demo and install, start to finish, in a single day.

The original roof had reached the end of its service life: heavy streaking across the rear and wing slopes, worn shingle edges, and the kind of wear that shows up long before a leak does. Rather than phase the work, we scoped the whole house as one day. Every slope came off to the deck — the main colonial roof, the front wing, and the rear ell — and roughly 18 squares of IKO Cambridge architectural shingles in Dual Black went back on, finished with white drip edge to match the trim. Dumpsters were on site and the tear-off debris left with the crew, so the house was never sitting open overnight and the grounds were clear the same evening. The Dual Black reads sharp against the yellow clapboard, and the homeowner got a new roof without a week of disruption.
